Video property tours Viewfirst Media have been specialising in

This was to be used as a promotional tool within the show homes and sent out as part of requested particulars. The campaign was delivered in DVD format, enabling potential customers to view their choices of house type before (and after) visiting the development. The tours were accompanied by bespoke music and customised menu systems, and clearly identifi ed Barratt’s unique selling points. The video footage was also made available to be used in a number of other promotional formats, including web streaming for viewing on company website. Filming of the properties took place over 2 days. The project was completed, duplicated and delivered within 10 days. Cost: ~ £3000 + VAT. And taking another view… Home viewing via the web takes off The days of vendors having to frantically tidy up before potential buyers view their home may be coming to an end. Hunters Property Group has launched 3D viewing, which not only means they don’t have to leave their house – or desk – but it also provides a chance to visualise a property without the owner’s furniture, fixtures and even clutter in the picture. A range of colour schemes and styles can be superimposed to visualise how it might look. The new hi-tech computer-generated property service gives the viewer a digital computer generated guided tour of a property, moving from room to room as if the viewer were holding a video camera. We are selling many homes this way, especially those buying from abroad or wanting to relocate from other areas of the country, and it also helps the buyer to shortlist those they might want to view. “Although this is truly cutting edge technology it still cannot replace the feeling you get when you walk into the house that says ‘this is the one for me’.” Hunters’ research has shown that more than 70 per cent of buyers now have access to the internet in order to search for houses and this is inevitably an essential future aspect of marketing and buying a home.
