The latest figures for the Government's Mortgage Rescue Scheme cover the quarter from July to September 2009.

There were 1111 requests for assistance made through either a Local Authority or the Fast Track Referral scheme (operated by lenders). 690 of these were found to be 'live' and action taken to stop the immediate threat of repossession, 74 households have received and accepted offers of help.
