Agents and landlords who need to evict tenants and recoup unpaid debts can now instruct leading High Court enforcement agency Shergroup online for the first time.

It is designed to ensure a quick and straightforward instruction process for property professionals in a highly secure environment.

Landlords in England and Wales can use the site to instruct a bailiff, transfer an order for possession or arrange for the eviction of squatters, amongst other services.

Shergroup Chief Executive Claire Sandbrook (pictured) said, “We have made it very easy for landlords and property owners to instruct us online in a secure environment. They choose the service they need from a comprehensive list and then fill out an online form. They can also make an online payment with a credit or debit card, or they can send us a cheque if that’s more convenient for them.”

Claire said the website has been specifically tailored to property professionals including commercial landlords, local authorities, accountants and solicitors. “We've worked hard to understand the type of client that instruct us, and matched their needs to the right type of form,” she said. “We want them to know how easy it is to instruct a bailiff as soon as there’s an issue. Speed is of the essence in these cases.”
