phoneTIM, The Inventory Manager has developed software for the residential inventory market using a hand held (PDA) and report a large increase in the number of enquiries from agents property management companies. Paul Miller from Tim said, “Our developers recognised that with the huge popularity of the iPhone, our focus on development would be with HTC’s version of a Smartphone, the HTC HD2, with its 4.3 inch screen, a 5 mega pixel camera and in-built flash. This was our choice of a PDA Smartphone.”

Lee Martin software developer and director of TIM said, “We increased the size of our dropdown boxes and improved the user interface to keep up with the latest touch screen technology.”

Time is money in any business and with so many letting agent and property management companies now bringing inventories back in house, we wanted our clients to be familiar with completing a detailed report using a mobile touch screen interface.

Is this why so many companies who hadn’t considered this option before, are doing so now? With a number of recognised inventory courses available to train their staff in the inventory-taking process, TIM aims to help them to identify a new key business opportunity in these challenging times. www.theinventorymanager.co.uk
